Spring is the perfect time to get out in the fresh air, blow away the winter cobwebs and get running.  Running is also the perfect way to get fit and lose those excess pounds.  


If you are new to running one of the first challenges is to figure out what to wear and how to pace yourself so that you stay free of injury and better still enjoy the experience. 


Prior to heading out on your first run you should plan what to wear bearing in mind the weather conditions.  Try to avoid overdressing as you will quickly warm up on a run.   Choose a route and set yourself a realistic target.
